Clear Answers Before You Begin
Understand what our administrative support covers, what can affect your request, and which decisions remain with agencies, banks, lenders, and other institutions.
Getting Started
What does A&S Legal help with?
We provide administrative and document-preparation support for vehicle registration, title and lien matters, dealer and resale documentation, LLC filings, business banking preparation, and business credit foundations.
Do I need to know the exact service before contacting you?
No. Describe what you are trying to complete, what has already happened, and which records you currently have. We can identify the closest administrative starting point after reviewing that information.
What information should I provide first?
Start with the vehicle or business involved, the relevant state or institution, your intended outcome, and a description of the available records.
Do not send Social Security numbers, banking credentials, or identity documents through a standard contact form.
Does submitting a request guarantee acceptance or approval?
No. We help organize information and prepare applicable documentation. Government agencies, licensing authorities, banks, lenders, sellers, and other third parties make their own decisions.
Registration, Titles & Liens
Can you help with Montana registration and renewals?
We can assist with the administrative preparation of eligible Montana registration and renewal matters. The available route depends on the vehicle, ownership structure, title status, existing registration, and agency requirements.
Is Montana registration appropriate for every vehicle owner?
Not necessarily. Registration, residence, insurance, tax, ownership, and operating obligations can vary according to the vehicle and the owner’s circumstances. The appropriate arrangement must comply with every jurisdiction that applies.
Does Montana registration automatically make a vehicle tax free?
No. A registration filing does not by itself determine every tax obligation. Tax treatment can depend on ownership, residence, vehicle use, transaction facts, and applicable law. Tax questions should be reviewed with a qualified tax professional.
What is the difference between a replacement title and a bonded title?
A replacement title generally addresses an existing title that was lost, damaged, or unavailable to the owner of record. A bonded-title process may apply when standard ownership evidence is incomplete and the reviewing authority permits an alternative route.
Is a bonded title guaranteed if I have a bill of sale?
No. A bill of sale may be one part of the ownership record, but the agency determines eligibility and may require additional evidence, inspection, valuation, lien information, and a surety bond.
Does a lien release automatically produce a new clear title?
Not always. The release must first be acceptable to the issuing authority. In Montana, releasing the recorded interest does not automatically issue a new title without the lien; a separate replacement-title request may be required.
Dealer & Resale
Does application support guarantee a dealer license?
No. We can help organize the administrative application file, but the licensing authority independently evaluates the applicant, documentation, business location, inspection, bond, insurance, and any other applicable requirements.
What affects a dealer-license application?
The license category, vehicle activity, business structure, ownership, location, jurisdiction, and supporting records can all change what must be submitted.
Is a resale certificate a blanket tax exemption?
No. A resale certificate is generally connected to qualifying goods purchased for resale in the ordinary course of business. It does not automatically cover normal operating purchases or guarantee tax-exempt treatment.
Must every seller or state accept a Montana resale certificate?
No. Sellers are responsible for evaluating the certificate, and some states may require their own form or additional information. A seller may decline to accept the Montana certificate.
LLC, Banking & Credit
Does LLC formation automatically include an EIN, licenses, and a bank account?
No. State formation creates the company record. EIN applications, operating agreements, tax elections, licenses, permits, and bank accounts are separate workstreams unless specifically included in the agreed service scope.
Can you help amend an existing LLC?
We can assist with eligible amendments and administrative updates. A state amendment does not automatically update IRS, banking, licensing, insurance, vendor, or credit-provider records.
Can you guarantee remote Bank of America account opening?
No. We can help organize the company and owner records commonly requested for an application. Bank of America independently controls eligibility, verification, remote onboarding availability, and account approval.
Can you guarantee business credit using only an EIN?
No. We help organize a consistent business foundation and EIN-linked company records. Credit issuers may consider operating history, revenue, personal credit, collateral, guarantees, and other criteria.
Timing, Fees & Scope
How long will my request take?
Timing depends on document completeness, the service, jurisdiction, inspections, third-party responses, and the processing time of the reviewing organization. A filing preparation estimate is not an approval date.
Are government and third-party fees included?
Your service scope should identify what the A&S Legal fee covers. Government filing fees, bonds, inspections, shipping, banking charges, and other third-party costs may be separate.
What happens after I submit the contact form?
We review the summary, identify any information needed to understand the request, and determine whether the matter fits an available service before work begins.
Is the information on this website legal, tax, financial, or credit advice?
No. The website describes administrative and document-preparation support. Questions requiring legal, tax, financial, lending, or credit advice should be directed to an appropriately qualified professional.
